I still want to see who will actually overcome the staggering problems of civil supersonic flight, both in design, operation and clients.

There are plenty of contenders, but I think Aerion might one day do it.
Although they have been a bit quiet of late.

Interesting video which shows some of the possible designs of various groups:

Hey all

My friend Emma R. works for Boom Aerospace for the Marketing sector, and here some pics she made of their Scale 1:125 desktop model of this brand new Mach 2.2 SST!

She also asked me to add this to this post, her own words

"Back in November, Boom Aero revealed the design of the supersonic demonstrator. The demonstrator, XB-1 "Baby Boom," will be one of the first steps towards the airliner. I have been an intern there for a few months now. At the event, we (employees and guests) were allowed to take home a free 1:125 model of Boom. We have ~100 or more models at the office, but we've not put them up for sale yet. When we do, I'll make sure that this forum hears the word about it."

There are so many of these supersonic aircraft, but I hear of them once or twice and never again...

I hope these would be a reality one day, I always wanted to go see a Concorde in a museum or something, but I would be even more happy to see one of these future planes flying.

Well Boom will be a success from what I have been hearing and reading around it mathematically and scientifically makes sense.

It's performance and it's value per ticket makes it an interesting concept. I do see Boom getting somewhere thus much further than many others have not
