Default The Glasgow and Prestwick photo thread

Well I haven't done one of these for a while owing to the weather being so crap. But here's a selection of shots from the last year or so. Mainly GLA and some PIK too. See if you spot the one and only Ryanair 737-700 !

another round of great pictures. Most of the Virgin photos and the green Thomas Cook originated from my hometown. Again the Qatari VIP SP in Manchester? I believe you photographed it last time too.

Correct (almost) The Virgin and Thomas Cook flights do indeed service Orlando, the Qatari VIP 747SP was pictured doing touch and goes at Prestwick from it's UK base at Bournemouth, similar to the video I showed you last year. It comes in for training a couple of times per year.

The nose of the Boeing 757 is very distinct & iconic, just a beautiful airliner period. But the ugly nose found on the newer 787 for example keeps me up all night thinking about how awful it looks!!

a nice surprise visitor last week, followed by it's sister ship (A6-MMM) the following day which overnighted. The Dubai Air Wing 'presidential' 744 private jet. A6-HRM, which was preceded by their private 787-8 at Prestwick a few days earlier.
