47 years ago, she made her maiden flight. just notice that the pitot tube was a fork shaped tube.

i am old, so i think this plane actually liked good, some kids today told me that this bird looked ugly.

Hmmm. This reminds me of a scene from the cult classic movie = The Warriors.

Back on topic = The Concorde was a splendid airframe that catered to a select clientele. Thanks for posting the video and a Happy Birthday to the Concorde.

I think the Concorde was the most aesthetically appealing airliner ever built. How could those kids say it was ugly? Every time I pass the BA Concorde at the Intrepid in Manhattan I just marvel at it. Maybe those kids think the A380 is attractive. It looks really ugly on the ground. The exception for me is the Etihad A380, but it's just the paint job.

ahh... i see. perhaps they only saw that bird in the video. it's not the graceful of birds with it's droopy nose... but once it's up and about, does remind me of a ballet dancer in motion

fongee, did those kids see the nose up version of the concorde or just the droopy nose version in the video?
