Default Sad Sight - Tearing up a once mighty 747

Its a shame this had to happen.. Too bad they could'nt turn them into living establishments or used as some sort of building. Its probably less expensive to do it this way than to transport them...

Any idea on what the registration might have been? Is it B-HOS?

Glad I had a chance to fly one of Cathay's remaining 744 last week from hkg-mnl-hkg segment.

shame to see any airliner be ripped apart... maybe we view airliners as more than just a hump of metal... they come too life every time they take too the air...

Im glad I have a BlueBox Cathay 744 in my collection... at least that can live on

Thanks for sharing the pic

I used to think it was sad also, but now I realize that by the time a plane ends up like that it is usually pretty nasty. Not shiny and new and clean anymore. A lot of farts in those walls.
