Indeed.... very nice looking aircraft, looks very graceful taking to the skies...

If both the 787 and A350 are the future then i look forward to seeing more beautiful airliners like these taking to the skies

On a side note... i notice the main undercarriage tilts opposite way round to most airliners similar to that of a 767.... Anyone know the reason for the difference or does it not really matter??

Very nice indeed. And it's absolutely amazing that Airbus obviously learned from Boeing's 787-mistakes and marketing disaster. They didn't had such a great show as Boeing had when their Dreamliner was presented to the public for the first time. But as big as the show was the problems were as well (biggest difference: the 787 wasn't even able to do taxi-tests at that time while the A350 was almost ready to fly when presented a couple of weeks ago). I hope for both aircrafts and manufacturers that their new products will lead the market and that we see a hard but fair competition. AND I think both aircrafts are some kind of ugly. So long live the Triple7 and the A340!

Congrats to Airbus.

Thumbs up Re: A350 live-

Congrats to Airbus at getting the bird into the air.

On the downside here we have yet another big twin.
I may be a dinosaur, but I liked the days where there were all sorts of different configurations flying around. Trikes, quads, T-tails, deltas... Sigh.
