Thanks for posting this neat video. It is really nice to see so much activity at Lambert. It's truly a shame that the airport is now a mere empty shell of what it was in its TWA heyday.

That compilation is AWESOME! I felt like I was right there alongside the runway.

To the above post, you're absolutely correct. Entire terminals of Lambert-St. Louis International are completely SHUT DOWN. Like a ghost town. And whyyyy the city and airport authority pushed and pushed and pushed to expand the airport and build more runways -- re-routing major thoroughfares and bulldozing dozens and dozens of homes in the process -- in the past 15 years is beyond me. What an utter waste of taxpayer money.

Thanks for the memories. Not only for TWA and Lambert Field but for the famous
"three holers". The B727 was and still is the best aircraft. Funny thing is that the nose section of the B727 looks very familiar. Oh! It looks like a B737 ).

I want a bold titles twin-stripe B722 in 1:200 so badly in my collection, but I hesitate buying IF200 in case GJ produces one.

Great vid!

I really enjoyed that! Thanks very much for the link!

Man, I do miss those three-holers! Their appearance on the ground and in the air - and also the screaming JT8D-engines. Give me a time-machine back to the 60s, 70s and 80s!!!

Always love the three hole action. Those were the days at STL.

Thanks for the link ; even if I like both A320 series & B737 my favorites stay
the B727 & DC9 aircrafts.
