Default UAE Dubai Air Wing Boeing 744 @ GLA 10th September.

The UAE elite were in Scotland at the weekend for a spot of huntin, shootin and fishin... They headed home just about an hour ago, in this rarther well appointed 744...

Not half, and within twenty minutes of departure this lightly loaded bird was cruising east over the North Sea at something over 600mph !

Here are some other GLA movements from today, including the "1000th 777" which must have passed the 747 going the other way...lol

Great shots! Got a few airside shots and videos. Was on 81 & 82 for the departure. =) same for the inbound. When it turned onto stand 6, I got a very nice blast from those 4 huge PW's!!

Wonder what the passengers and crew on the EK773 would have thought if they had both been in the airport at the same time, nice pics.

Do they use the 777 also or is the 747 and 777 used by different members of the family.

I'm not aware of them using a 777, that's not to say they don't of course... They had their own UAE liveried helicopter yesterday upon arrival too. This took them to a Highland location near Inverness for the luxury weekender apparently...

It's ex Air India VT-AIM and previously ex Air Canada C-GAGM, maybe they didn't bother ripping it out so much...

Did they have a 747SP also at one stage?
