Default Fri the 13th Spotting. (Another excuse to start a spotting thread lol)

The day started with this unexpected late departure on Rwy 23!!

And then the first of the heavies and the only few that did land on Rwy 23

Cargolux Boeing 747-8f contrail.

Back to the ground departures

The world's longest flight in an all business class configuration flies overhead. SQ22 nonstop from Singapore to Newark. Flying time 18hrs 55 mins

Was so glad when another spotter alerted me about this beast approaching

Baby and Daddy FedEX!!

Nice series of photos! That BA 747 is really cool, and the 747s flying in air are awesome too, I actually seen one fly over my house the other day, used binoculars to see it, didn't have a camera outside.

Sharp, crisp, clean images - could make a good coffee table book, or at least some great enlargements for the wall. Keep shooting, Doug

Glad you liked the pics. It was truly a great day yesterday, except for the haze earlier in the day.

I don't know when I will really start to appreciate that aircraft. Maybe when I actually fly inside it, perhaps.

Great photos! We had a nice day for a Friday the 13th, I wanted to do some plane spotting where you were (just came from AV World), but the wifey wanted to zip home before traffic on the 401, hee hee! Especially like the wide and long bodies you took pictures of. Yes, I warmed up to the A380 after experiencing a flight on it, main deck with the flat window walls is a different feeling, but gives it a more spacious experience (compared to the regular concave windows). Cheers! T7 (have 5 models in my fleet/collection that you took beautiful pictures of, so I really appreciate that you shared your spotting pics with the DAC members)

Freak ... I have not seen you at YYZ for AGES, but I have been there. I'm all over the place - have pretty much been spotting everywhere this year except for Carlingview Drive. Some days I'm at Country Style and Wendy's on Airport Rd., other days on Director Gate, other days out on Convair Dr., some days at the back Infield. Can't wait for some nice warm/hot weather and active 33's, spotting from hilltop on Courtneypark Dr. E. - great location for photographers, such as yourself!
