The plane is not "all black" in color though, it is black and silver. The attached article is written poorly in that regard.

Maybe they misread the 'All Blacks' livery, want one in 1:200 scale!

Re: All Blacks 777-300ER due in January !!!
I'd like them to have "All Backs 2011 World Cup Champions" or something like that in the livery. That will make it more collectable.

Kris Air, yes it will look like that. Same as the A320's already in the livery.

I didn't think I'd like it but it's amazing. It's the fern design that makes it.

Re: All Blacks 777-300ER due in January !!!
Beautiful jet! One of the best to grace the skies in a long while. My only gripe (and it is a small one) but I really wish the engines had been painted black as well. The white feels a little off to me. Oh well...still incredibly beautiful! Sweet as ANZ!!!

Re: All Black 777-300ER due in January !!!
The All Back B777 arrived in Auckland Airport on 12/1/2012.
See the full story
here . (Video interview with ANZ CEO)
People start asking will they use the All Black livery for the entire fleets or how much extra to paint such a livery etc ... (see the link above)
However, ANZ will not receive any new aircrafts until the 2014, the B787. Hope they do something like that for B787 since they are the launch customer for the B787-9.
Sorry guys, the engine covers stay as they are (not black).
BTW, they also won the airline of the year award. Qantas should sent someone to NZ, and learn from them.

Re: All Blacks 777-300ER due in January !!!
Would the engines not be painted due to heat retention?
I hope this comes out in 1:200 very soon
