Default Baade 152

East Germany tried hard to demonstrate that it's form of Socialism was superior to any system of governance which existed at that time. This was one failed attempt within that endeavor which produced not only a very unattractive airliner but also did not go into production on account of a few crashes which occurred in 1961. There is a group in modern day Germany that is working to restore one of these monstrosities known as the "Baade 152". The videoclips marketing this airliner (in German) are impressive considering this unfortunate outcome. It would still be cool to see one of these come out in Deutsche Lufthansa (East German) or Interflug livery in scale 1:400.

If the Baade 152 is a monstroisity then I'm into monsters! I think shes beautiful. I would love to have seen one fly....so much better to look at than the endless stream of 'twin podded' monsters from Toulouse and Seattle filling our skies today

I'm very much enjoying the VFW 614 model. Any chance of acquiring a similar 1:100 model for Baade 152? Some French dealer was selling resin examples however has none in stock at the moment.

Hope you are doing well. Haven't pursued my Chinese sources in quite some time. Consumer confidence for Chinese products in the US is at a low point at the moment.

Alles Gute!!!

Gerd
