Default AirTran/Midwest 717

I would love to see a drawing of a Midwest 717 with the A logo on the blue tail and the AirTran titles over the Midwest titles on the fuselage.

That would be interesting...I work for Midwest, and we contract with AirTran to do their ground crew. Last night the captain was joking about them buying midwest. The bid is up to $345 million now. Seems like they are determined to pick up Midwest at any cost.

Thumbs down

I hope not. IfAir Tran gets Midwest, you can kiss Signature Service goodbye. They would rip out all the seats and turn them into cattle cars.

I agree with that! I hope they don't merge with Valujet.

Air Tran has said that the Signature Service would be gone. The one thing they said would carry to all their flights would be the Chocolate Chip cookies to all their flights. For those not in the know, Midwest bakes cookies on all afternoon and evening flights. Nice change compared to the normal flight smells.

Come on... Cookies over space and room and better seats and less people and and ... hell, the seats were specially designed for Midwest.

I'd rather eat cookies than lose them...

I am flying AirTran to TPA from IND in March. If AirTran buys Midwest I hope it won't change fly flight or my A+ Rewards program membership!
