Alaska Airlines is making its transition to an all-737 fleet. Here are just two of the various type the airline flies. One is their regular 737-700 scheme and the other is the negative alaskaair.com 737-800. I'm working on finishing up the regular scheme -800 and -900s. This is a great and growing airline and I think their scheme is one of the best in at least the US.

I have a wallpaper of these guys if anyone wants one. It's got the green background with all four birds and the Eskimo in the background, I think it's pretty neat looking. It's titled "Alaska Airlines 2008" as this will be Alaska's fleet in 2008. They are speeding up the phasing out of their MD-80s. By 2008 they will have a fleet of 114 consisting of mostly 737-800s with the winglets, and some 737-900s.
The wallpaper is 480K and can be sent through E-mail. If anyone has any suggestions for the next airline to do some 737NGs, I'm looking for a new project. |

As for my templates I make them reffering to various sources including photographs from A.net and Boeing drawings. |

Could you try a B737-300 or -400 in the US Airways new scheme? Or how about a Northwest fantasy aircraft?

Alaska is one of the best airlines right now. The first class in the B737-990 is something else!

I am surprised that there has been a deafening silence over the transition of Alaska Airlines' cargo operations from the series 200 to series 400 aircraft. Gemini has a model of the first modified 400 in the modified cargo livery, but Alaska Airlines and the airlines related publications have remained silent on this major change to alaska aviation.
I understand that the last 200c has been withdrawn from use and I would have thought that would have been a major media event. ![]() Last edited by Planecrazy; 09-16-2007 at 10:34 PM. |

Planecrazy, that picture shows the model with widow frames. The final model released by Gemini Jets doesn't have frames at all unless this is a prior release.
Airlines magazine is releasing a special issue with the airelines history in March. I can't wait to see pictures and more pictures. |

There is a thread on A.net of the 75th anniversary retro Alaska Airlines 737-800.
Looks good. We're waiting Gemini.... ![]() |
