Default Torino 2006 Winter Olympics logojet

As you may know, the city of Torino is going to host the upcoming 20th Olympic Winter Games next month. I'm glad that Italy is getting to host an Olympic event again, so I thought it would be fitting if our (troubled) national carrier did something to promote the Games, just like Delta did back in 2002 with the Salt Lake City games.
Unfortunately, Alitalia isn't even a sponsor of Torino 2006, so I guess we will never see anything like this, but here goes anyway:

Useless trivia: EI-DBL (the aircraft I chose) carries the name of Sestriere, which is none other than the venue for the Olympic alpine skiing competition
Federico
p.s. I've also made a high-quality repaint of this on the Meljet 777-200 model for Flightsim - if anyone's interested just drop me a line.

Magari si svegliassero un po' e facessero una livrea speciale...l'ultimo MD-80 Alitalia/McDonald's era veramente inguardabile, un obrobrio! Complimenti per la livrea, bellissima come al solito. Ciao e Buon Anno!

Change the blue into AZA's green. Then it might look more realistic....

Bye, Chris.

Errr yes, that would look nice, except I don't see any green anywhere in the branding of the Torino 2006 winter Olympics

I was actually inspired by the "Bulgari Aluminium" and "Baci Perugina" special liveries that Alitalia used to have on two of its 747-200s, which are sadly now out of service. The Baci one in particular was blue with a silver cheatline and "A" logo on the tail, perhaps one of the most beautiful liveries ever.

No, unfortunately no airlines are involved in the winter games in Turin.

Your work really impressed me, it's very original and well done! I'd like to see some special livery for the winter games...

It is kind of pathetic that Italy didn't have any "offical" airline for there olympics...

my VA did a couple special liveries for the olympics

one A321 and one B752

it is really too bad that no airline was a sponsor.......was a great chance for some unique liveries.....

I have seen it before on the forum, but I still love the colours and it is a great model. I hope it comes out one time, or maybe you can make it.
