Default Creating a new identity for Alitalia...

My friend Alessandro and I have decided to join forces in creative thinking under the name of AeroDream Designs - here is our first work, developed entirely over MSN.

"Our aim is to bring back the sense of glamour and exclusivity that marked the Golden Age of commercial aviation, at the same time bringing back an Alitalia that truly stands up to the reputation it had between the 50s and 70s - a world-class, leading airline ranking right up there with the best of the best. Hence the decision to bring back the classic Freccia Alata logo (the winged arrow), and the use of elegant colors such as cream, dark green and red, to emphasize the sense of luxury and quality that a renewed Alitalia should, in our minds, provide. Italy has some of the best products worldwide in many fields: fashion, luxury cars, food, hotels, etc.... We would like Alitalia to be among those, a sort of Prada of the skies. And we think that a livery like the one in our proposal would be the right thing to get just that message across."

Hope you like - feedback we have received so far has been very positive, but we are open to criticism

Thanks
Federico

I like how you disigned the pictures and colors. The livery is unique.

Frederico,

What a great job you did buddy! Congratulations !!! Great livery!!!

Did you realize that there is a bunch of great airliners that must get their glory days back; like Alitalia, VARIG, Air Canada, Lan chile etc. I am sure changing the actual Alitalia livery for the one you are showing us it would be very good for the airline and for its employees.

Ciao.

You should really consider sending this to Alitalia and seeing what they say... It would be real nice to see this instead of there current one. This is beautiful.

Default Wonderful job but.....

It is a wonderful job on the art design for a new livery! Bravo! But, call me old fashioned, I still prefer the current livery. Maybe a different version of the original livery & the "freccia alata" would be interesting. As for the Alitalia to get back to its "Glory" days, its up to the executives to do the right things & for its employees & flight crews to help bring back the "Glory" days. My father worked 30 years for Alitalia at JFK & I personally saw how times have changed. How large corporations don't care about their employees & how treatment of passengers onboard & off, aren't what they used to be. Anyway, were not to talk about politics..... Good Work!

I'm also a fan of the current Alitalia livery but I have to say this looks great, real classy. It retains some of the lines of the current livery and gives them a nice modern spin. Better than most of the crap people come up with on the Modified Airliners site.

Do you have any bigger pics?

Ciao Fede, stavolta ti sei superato!

Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys!

We are working on more liveries at present - our agenda is quite full as there are so many airlines in bad need of a new livery!

In the meantime, here's another rendering of our Alitalia livery on the Do-728 on steroids, I mean the 787

Very nicely done! One thing where is the Skyteam logo? As for everything else it looks great. Very nice bringing the original logo out with the current one. Both work nicely in the manner for which you present them.

I´d prefer a new, non-subsidized Alitalia first.

Absolutely Beautiful! Love It!
This Would Be Awsome If Alitalia Accepted This Livery!
A Chic New Cutting Edge Ecclectic Style For The New Millennia, Yet Retaining The Traditions Of It's Long Lived & Iconic Livery.
Love The Thin Small Titles That Just Seem Critically Placed Right.

Would Like To See Something A Bit Different On The Engines, But Retaining The Same Concept.

I love the new alitalia livery, but I disagree with the air canada haters. In my opinion, air canada is one of the best looking liveries out there. But, then again, blue is my favorite color.
