Sabreliner...The Lockheed Jetstar. This airplane still looks fresh. This is the earlier version before the Garrets and modified lowered wing tanks. Enjoy.
Yes...its facing east, but wanted to get a view w/o the pax door.

Yes...saw the "Twin" Jetstar in the January 2005 Airliner world. Interestingly, the "slipper" tanks on the twin are the later lowered version.
This aircraft was to be moved from British Colombian Institute of Technology to the Seattle Museum of flight at the end of 2004. Any idea if it made it there? PS:Most recent pic from AW~ Last edited by Boeing SST; 02-13-2005 at 01:12 PM. |
