Arrow OT: An airline bizjet companion to the

Sabreliner...The Lockheed Jetstar. This airplane still looks fresh. This is the earlier version before the Garrets and modified lowered wing tanks. Enjoy.

Yes...its facing east, but wanted to get a view w/o the pax door.

Mmmmm....slipper tanks! My all-time favorite corporate jet (Sabre 65 close second). Ever seen the 2-engine version that sits up in YVR on the south side??

Yes...saw the "Twin" Jetstar in the January 2005 Airliner world. Interestingly, the "slipper" tanks on the twin are the later lowered version.
This aircraft was to be moved from British Colombian Institute of Technology to the Seattle Museum of flight at the end of 2004. Any idea if it made it there?
