Dig it, Herb! The Premier I is a stubby odd-looking aircraft that has a bit of unique aesthetic charm of its own with its sculpted lines and waisted aft fuselage around the nacelles. If it weren't for the advances made on the Beech Starship, the Premier wouldn't have been possible.
Personally, the Premier looks more like a jet than the Eclipse and Citation Mustang "near-jets".

Sadly, as you mention, the Starship has all but disappeared (figuratively and physically). We can definitly thank that beautiful aircraft for its contribution to the new breed of microjets. Also the Williams FJ-44. It powers most of these new airplanes. A lot of the new designs are a bit boring looking. I have hope for the Cessna Mustang, though. It is sporting those sexy Jillion-Dollar Gulfstream 550 style windows. A nice touch for the "Beer-Drinkin-Wallets" of the personal baby bizjet market. ![]() Herb

Fantastic! One question, will you be able to hail these babies when you need one or will it be like the typical New York taxi...
