Most of you have probably heard. AirTran ordered 28 737s with options for 50 more. I had nothing to do, and wanted to get a preview of what they might look like. There is a fantastic preview in the 1:1 Scale Forum (http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...threadid=29325). Here is a 737-700 that I drew up. I think it looks really weird.

It doesn't look that weird to me, great job! The only thing you could have worked on - and this is coming from a person who has only done one fantasy scheme in their entire life - is that the bottom of the fuselage and engine nacelle look a bit too "flat", maybe they should have a more rounded slope to them when meeting with the angles of he nose and tail sections.

I usually try to add that effect, usually by making it fade to a darker color around the tops and bottoms. On some of my recent jobs I have done that. I just seemed to have forgotten about it. Thanks for pointing that out.

That is pretty much on the money. Marketing has painted "AirTran.com" on the engines. Also there are plans to put winglets on after delivery. There is one thing though the a on the tail should be straight, level and plumb in the center of the tail. If you notice on all 717's delivered from Boeing. Aircraft left, or captains side the a seams to be "rolling back" On all DC-9 and 737-200 Aircraft it is the same as on the right, or first officers side. everyone at AirTran Management and Boeing just shrug it off, or say they don't know why this is.
