Default BOAC what-ifs

Some of you may recall the argument over the BA Flying tails. I think that they were better than the 1970s retro BA Union Flag look we have ended up with. But, if you want retro, why not go back to the old BOAC name and colours. Just as Lufthansa has kept its crane bird emblem and striking blue and yellow, BOAC/BA should have kept Blue and Gold and the "Speedbird". Well, I like it anyway.
BOAC has three completely different periods for colours.

It first liveries were all over plain metal polished with very small BOAC logos. This would still look good on today's 777s and 747s.

The all white schemes with blue and thin gold trim of the 50s would also look good, perhaps in a revised all white fuselage with BOAC logos.

Although forced by the British Government to buy British, BOAC much prefered its American planes. So, what about 777s in BOAC colours, or even Sonic Cruisers.
