Default New new EVA

I'm baaaack!

Well, during my break I finally got to see the new EVA livery in person. Now I'm sure I don't like it. It reminds me too much of PIA circa 1970s/80s. So, with that in mind....

Cool Great ones! Especially like the green coverage over the top side not the lower side.

Very well done!

Thanks guys! Yes, I did make the blanks myself. I used Corel Draw and traced a technical drawing when available + check photos (mostly from Airliners.net)to add details. My pride and joy is my B717 blank, since I made that by tracing and studying photographs. B.t.w. here's...

Can anyone tell me which Airbus EVA has on order? Do they have the 777 on order as well?

A330-200s , 2 on direct order and another 6 on lease . Yes they do have B777-200LR on order but they may cancel that order in favour of A340-500 for several reasons . A lot of rumours about this one .

Hope this helps .

I look at your livery and wonder, who the hell decided to put the green on the bottom anyway?!? Great job. And nice SAL planes too... love the name "Minitop".

Well the philosophy behind their new livery is to uniform their group's image. Their shipping line has a green hull with orange striping as well. Cute idea, but would you really like to fly in a container ship? I reversed the scheme (as in sea=bottom - air=above) and made the green darker to give it a more corporate (boardroom) image. As far as aircraft purchase, it seems now more a question of politics than economics
