Talking Yet another fantasy Braniff!

Yes folks! It's ANOTHER fantasy Braniff jellybean! Since I'm on a 2707 kick this week, I thought I'd offer something to please some folks and just generally annoy others!

I KNOW that the jellybean livery might not work on this aircraft due to the extreme wear put on the paint, but I thought it'd look good and was amusing, so there!

(As they used to say on Johnny Carson) More to come...

Enjoy!

Thumbs up Huh-huh-huh, I think I'm getting a stiffie....

Is it Braniff? HELL YES!
Well if it's Braniff, is it a Jellybean? YOU BET!
And if it's a Jellybean, is it the red color? DARN RIGHT!

Well then, my mind is made up and this I'm diggin'. I dig it so much it's now the wallpaper on my computer in my office. Like I've said before with the Brass A*s Continental B2707, this is one of the most fascinating what if's in commercial aviation and the variable-geometry version of the 2707 looks downright sharp, purposeful, and sleek even when sitting still.

And to see it in the Braniff red Jellybean livery (my favorite of all the Braniff liveries), well that's just too nice to not look at everyday, so BAM! Windows wallpaper you shall become....

Maybe they'll have figured out some new space age super duper heavy duty paint had the Boeing 2707 gone into service?

Thanks Metro, but to be honest this isn't a Concorde, but a REAL fantasy airframe... the Boeing 2707-200 SST. It never got past the mockup stage...

see THIS thread for a little of the background

Thumbs up The General's going to push the crap off of this forum and revisit the GOOD stuff!

To all you Braniff critics, take a look at this illustration and SHOVE IT UP YOURS. It's not often an illustration can capture the same sense of romance and glamour that the original Braniff did, but lo and behold here it is. Not many airlines carry that mystique.

This one's going in a frame for the General's bunker.
