Talking Delta Md-xx

The proposed MD-XX was brought up in a 1:400 post, so I thought I woul dplay around and see what I could come up with. That and making a pic of the proposed MD-12X doubledecker was just causing me to pull my hair out. Of course I made it a Delta jet (surprise surprise I know) The MD-XX was supposed to be a lengthend MD-11 with 4 engines, and ultra long range.

Very nice DF... Looks like MD kept the design from MD-11s...

Good job!

Cool That's cool!

I also heard Mc Donnell Douglas was going to do a double decker version called MD-12 it would have looked like a cross of DC-10 Flight Deck on an A380!

That Delta is pretty cool Russ. I like the concept. You probably could've gotten away with smaller engines, like the A340 uses, to reduce burn rates and increase effeciency.

I thought about that, but the problem usually is , that when I switch engines from different photos, they are never quite the same whiteness to them. So it was just easier for me to copy the image of the first engine and drag it over to further out on the wing.
