Yes, but remember, that was just put together for President Obama when he made the visit, those were just 3M decals and were removed after he left. I'm sure United will keep what they have for a livery when they get their 787s.

IMHO that livery looks a lot nicer and much more simple vs the current color scheme. Sometimes mostly white planes ( if kept clean ) look very sharp.

Lol.

Ya, there are some white liveries that look good, Delta does, and I have always liked Continental's livery with the white and gray, I was happy when thy kept that on United.

I think what B2707300SST is saying about the Dream-Glider is that in the picture, the aircraft is missing it's engines

Thank you JBlue. You are correct.

Btw: I CAN'T stand all the tail-dipped Eurowhite blandamned schemes everywhe these days. Qantas was an early entry into this look so they pass go and collect $200.00. All the copycats need to get creative!

Somebody, PLEASE design some tastefull stripe schemes!

Thank you.

I believe I read somewhere that Air France was the originator of the Euro-white concept, and it was done to accommodate the scheduled flight introduction of Concorde. That aircraft had to be mainly a specially developed anti-flash white in order to achieve constant Mach 2.

If I can say something, I surely think the Continental logo and their gray bottom scheme with gold stripe is surely a winner for this plane. I'm sure that white painted wings would be more efficient than gray, but light gray is a bit more tolerable for passengers to look out the window rather than a bright white wing on a sunny day.
