Re: Color Illustrations by William A. Heaslip
A librarian friend of mine recently brought in five of these William Heaslip War Planes prints that coke had used in their "hangers". Though they are 12 x 14 and do NOT have any coke labels or logos on them. They might have originally been part of a book, though are professionally dry mounted to illustration board in an effort to preserve them I believe. They are beautiful lithographic prints in great condition. She asked if I knew anything about them, being an art history nut, and I could only find details about the Coke advertising products. They were given to the Hesperia Public library, and I believe she would probably want to sell them to someone who appreciates them. The ones she dropped off for me to look at are not in protective envelopes: Fortress, Helldiver, Avenger, Corsair and Hellcat. Did you find anything more on the post-cocacola book?
