Default Ai2008

July 10 - 12 ...just made plans with my brother to fly JFK/DFW for the day and return same night. Thursday would work best but I heard that Thurs is vendors only, anybody know. I really wanted to attend all three days but other comitments got in the way. I E-mailed AI2008 but did not get any response yet, sure would like to go.

Friday and Saturday are for everyone but you have to pay to get in(registered attendees can get in for the three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday). If you register and pay the fee, then you can get in Thursday since it is for registered attendees only for thursday.

I remember when I went to the one in 2005. I drove up to Milwaukee from Chicago and liked it. Now I try to go every year and earn some vacation time for it!

Nothing negative towards your parents, but that sounds pretty lousy of your parents that they wont support you in a hobby that you love and adore so much. What crap do they collect that could be any better then nice airplane models. If you are using your hard earned money, they should have no right to say it is a waste of money. Just ignore what they say, and they will eventually (hopefully) stop. Sorry if I am sounding rude, I just get annoied at those things.
