Once again, I shall be there, will you? Much better than when it was at Feltham.

Heathrow fair every 4 months or so, Gatwick fair only once a year. Usually same sort of stuff at both.

I'll be seeing you guys at the LGW08.

How can I find you at the LGW fair, Adrian and PP... ?
I've seen a picture CV already, so I don't think that's a problem.
Anybody else coming ? The LHReFair is very tempting as well.

I'm trying to change my schedule to arrive at LHR on Saturday the 10th of May in order to be able to check out this event. Can someone kind of give me directions on the best way of getting there from Harlington, Middx?

Also will there be stalls selling stuff like models and airline memorabilia? What are the timings or the best time to get there? Thanks.

So where abouts is it then??

I know only too well where Feltham is having passed through it umpteen times on the train, but that's not much use I'd imagine!

Forecast for the weekend is good, so I'm going gliding instead. Done precious little this year so far. Enjoy the show.

I went to the show. Apparently the turnout wasn't so good but I got a few good deals. Picked up the following models:

1:200 Starjets LH A321 GBP 5.00
1:200 FM JMC A332 GBP 3.00
1:200 FM My Travel A332 GBP 3.00
1:200 Lupa Maersk (new livery) 737-700 GBP 3.00
1:200 Unknown manufacturer AF Concorde GBP 12.00
1:250 Wooster SV 741 GBP 3.00
1:250 Wooster BA 777 GBP 4.00
1:400 BB400 AF 742 GBP 5.00
1:144 Airfix BA Trident (1976 kit) GBP 8.00
1:144 Airfix Dan Air Comet 4B (1980 kit) GBP 8.00

The next show is on 14th Dec and I'll be here in the UK and will attend that one too.

A pretty good show, but attendance was down probably as it was only two weeks after LGW08 and the same traders were there with much the same stock! Also it was a gorgeous hot sunny day and I found many enthusiasts later on outside on Heathrow's approach spotting.

Met up with 'Prestwick Pioneer'(Sandy) and we did some good deals, but that was in the 'buying' category. Would be too frustrating for him to be tied behind a table, when there were 'goodies' to be bought! I know from experience and have missed out on bargains due to having to attend a table. Hey ho, next one will be on Sunday 14th December which is nicely timed just before Christmas and hopefully 'new' goodies to tempt!

Damn, you are right Adrian, I cant help loving those bargains. Yes, we did rather well, so glad you got that MEA 707 at a bargain price. To take home the AC Gen1 BA 707-436 at a perfectly reasonable price was a joy. Not to mention the 2 GJ CP Air models from last year, though the DC8 is in poor condition, really.Damn that Mr Moitie for getting the BEA Mudguard first, however.
I was a dirty stop out and stayed to do a mini shop at the CAM sale the next day (and see my 2nd SQ 380).
Hope to see more DA.C and 400SH folk at either Luton in October or Kempton in December. Folks, its time to get the overtime in!!

Saddest news was that the pub had stopped serving food when I get there, I shalll not make the same mistake next time.
