Default 1st Semi-Annual IAD Show

Not sure if any have recieved such news, but on Saturday April 21st, 2007 there will be an airliners show as Dulles. $5 admission, from 9AM-3PM.

So who's going, sounds like good fun, too bad not more of these on the East Coast.....

Cheers!

It will be from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

I have two brothers who live in the area and I'll be hanging out with them before heading to the show. I also plan to make another visit to the Udar-Hazy Center during that weekend.

Udvar-Hazy wasn't on the schedule for us. Instead, we went to the Smithonian Museums on the mall. I purchased a couple of books from the Air & Space Museum and we also visited the National Postal Museum. This was an important stop for me because I have been studying early commercial flight from the teens and twenties. Excellent exhibits except for the fact that I found a couple of historical mistakes in one of their paper displays. I filled out a comment card regarding it.

I was tempted to buy a 1:200 Inflight at the IAD show, but resisted.
