Re: 1/144 United 727-200 "Saul Bass"

...to name one problem. The Minicraft kit has more wrong with it than right. It's just an awful, awful representation of a 727-200.

Anyway, nice work! I always liked the 727-200 in the revised...

Re: Gemini April Releases

The US Airways Shuttle 727-200 is nice. Might try and pick that one up if I can find the $$$. But man, the nose on that Southwest 737-800 is pretty jacked up.

Re: will delta's 717's be a member of Delta Connection?

That's what I'm expecting. We've already seen a handful of Connection markets start to get mainline out of ATL, such as AGS, CHA, FAY, ILM, AVL, ROA - and more recently, BMI and CRW. All of these...

Re: Dragon Wings aren't all bad models

Well...the engines are FAR from perfect, and for me, that throws the overall model off quite a bit. Nevertheless, I still own a handful since the MD-80 is one of the most neglected types in 1:400...

Re: April Gemini Jet new model hints

Where is everybody getting the 1:400 Delta DC-9-50 from? Seems weird for GJ to come out with a -50 mold when they haven't touched their -30 in years. As much as I'd love to see a Delta DC-9-50, I...

Re: Delta Air Lines A380's

I would be shocked if Delta ever even considered the A380. IMO, the most likely scenario for any large aircraft orders would be to eventually replace the 747-400 with either the 747-8 or the...

Re: will delta's 717's be a member of Delta Connection?

The 717s will absolutely be flown by mainline Delta pilots. They will not (and cannot) be flown by any Delta Connection carriers due to scope. My personal opinion is that these aircraft will not...

Re: American's new 737-800 design changes??

JANET switched from the 737-200 to the 737-600. They did not have "their old engines swapped out for the newer ones." They're completely different aircraft.

Northwest and KLM never merged. They formed an alliance that resulted in a European pulldown of Northwest metal, which was refocused to transpac service.

Re: Ilyushin IL96-400 Future Release 1/400

It's a popular nickname for Republic's final livery because of the similarity in the font used for the "Republic" titles and the font used for the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Same here. The LAN 787 is a nice subject, but the inflight wings ruin it for me. It also looks like they botched up the blue. Fairly boring lineup this month, IMO. That's a good thing for me...
