Default EVEN TRADE JET-X AA MD-80s

I have the chrome version (N569AA) and realize now I would have preferred the bare metal version (N400AA).

Mine is in its unopened box with the shrinkwrap intact.

Anyone have N400AA and would prefer the chrome?

thank you

JC

I'm just wondering what's "wrong" with chrome since you prefer bare metal, I've never had a chrome model and thus would like to learn more about this subject..

I prefer polished as well. It's more realistic.

It's really a personal preference between chrome and bare metal.

I know some folks prefer the chrome, but I find the polished bare metal finish looks more like the real thing. However, bare metal may be more subject to splotching or darkening over time.

I bought mine on ebay without first educating myself on what Jet-X had released.

Seeing the post below made me realize Jet-X made a bare metal version of the straight AA livery which is what I wanted.
