Not been looking for them.
Who makes them, and I take it they are tampo printed?? if that isn't too much of a daft question. I mean, is there a reason why they have been on ebay for ages??

Ok, don't answer any of my questions then. I bought the Air Koryo by the way, I suppose I'll find out soon enough anyway.

I didn't mean you personally, I just meant anyone in general. No matter how you put it, saying what I said always seems to sound a bit obnoxious, but it wasn't meant to be. I had decided that, until my HG MAS Hibiscus and the FOS had arrived, I wouldn't buy anything else. Looks like I've just slipped, and for an airline I've never had any models of too! ![]()

No offense taken...I just bought the Air Ukraine and TAAG too...I hope these things are nice if not I'll sell them at the next Airliners show in Atlanta this fall....
On a side note, when I bought my Air Koryo first it showed 2 models in stock. It then corrected itself to one in stock..Now its still at 2 available....something fishy....there are probably lots more of everything...

Oh yeah, just seen the English version. I says that there are 0 available, but, it also appears that there are 2 that have been relisted. Hmmm.

Well guys, it is chinese stuff. The seller probably bought 10 or 20 pcs. of these airplanes from a company that were producing them for somebody else and they "shared" the stock. Min. production of these airplanes is usually about 100pcs if you want to get them produced all by yourself( but maybe he bought them all ). You can easily identify them by the stand that the IL62s are having. Quality of chinese models may vary a lot. When I was importing chinese models I was working with the wrong guys .... but these seem quite okay. Some "major manufacturers" of resin models even produce their models in china.
I do not think that they are printed, in most cases they use decals and then put a layer of clear paint on it again. Well, lets see ... if it is nice I will keep it. If not I will sell it very soon.

Well if they do turn out to be crappy, I'm sure alot will end up here for sale lol, but I don't think it should come to that. They seem quite ok. The Ukraine IL-62 is one of the few airlines and a/c missing from my collection in large scale and $43 isn't too bad for one of these.

My thoughts exact, I too picked up the Iran Air 727, so now Im up to 5 pieces (Olympic, Air Ukraine, Air Koryo and TAAG) kinda debating on the Emirates as I am overloaded on Emirates models...1/144 scale models at a dirt cheap price...I dont see a problem getting rid of them via ebay or several airliner shows..possibly at a profit based on low purchase price. However it is my intent to keep them.. I spoke to the factory production mgr in China yesterday for Gemini and he knows these models...they are made in China in the next province over...Quality is not great and he can get them all day long for about $10.00 U.S. a piece...Its the shipping that drives the price up...And there are 100's of each one produced as suspected....I have the Iran Air 747 and it is quite nice for the money from these same people..

I wish they would do a 747SP. I'd love to have one in Syrian Air or Iran Air. Wasn't too impressed with the regular 747's.
