Default Very big 787 models!

My friend from Vietnam 've just sent me the photos of his 2 new B787 models. They're hand made from resin, printed.... Their scale is 1/30.... I will order one for me when i back my country, and hang it in my hobby room...
Enjoy!

In all seriousness and no offence intended, please don't bother with them. They're horrible and grossly inaccurate.

ONLY Pacific Miniatures (PacMin) can produce accurate large scale models.

A very generalised sweeping statement if I might say. There is no doubt that Pacmin are top rate model makers and I have many of their models, but they are by no means the "only" ones capable of turning out good/accurate large scale models. I have large scale items in my collection from AMI-Phelps, Space and Westway that are every bit as good as dear old Pacmin.
As far as accuracy is concerned I have seen many large models over the years in airline offices and private collections that have not always been scale replicas of the full size aircraft. Certainly in the earlier years these models were intended simply as advertising aids and nothing more. Compare any of these models to the work of Brad Shinn and then you'll see accuracy.

Win-arc, if that 787 is a model you like then buy it and enjoy it, after all isn't that why we all collect them in the first place?

YES, with good reason you're right:
CONQUEST MODELS IS No.1 FOR ALL SCALES

Here's my 1:100 Lufthansa A340-600 D-AIHF by Sir Peter Jackson's "Conquest Models".
See the quality and accuracy difference between Conquest A340-600 and Graphideco Air France A340-300. Beyond all comparison!

I have two big scale models only: 1:20 PacMin JAT-Yugoslav Airlines B-737-3H9 and 1:50 Airplast-Milano JAT DC-10-30.
733 is average, but D10 is not accurate, but enjoy other JAT old models 1:50 Caravelle and DC-9-32, and 1:72 ATR-42.
The FANTASTIC 1:36 AF 744 I've seen on art-aviation Site.

yea probably

for big scales like these, i expect nothing but details details details. theres enough working room! so when i see large scales without landing gears at least i cringe.

I was surprised to see gears on the AF 744. I was looking at the privately-owned models for sale in the link you provided above, and noted most if not all of the large scale models are gearless.

I'd love to have a 1/36 Virgin Atlantic 747! (With gears, of course.)

Thanks guys for their comment! It's very useful. I changed my mind after read them and see the Brad build models. I'd rather order the 1/200 accurate model from Brad than get the big scale inaccurate...
Kai, How much for Air France B747 1/36??? And how I can order the one like this (but not Air France livery). I guess it's valued not less than xxxx$....
