Exclamation Huge Planes .... Shipping

Hello Y'all

I am willing to buy a huge plane (9 kilos 150 cm by 50 by 54).
It is situated in Quebec Canada, And I am from Kampenhout Belgium.

Now I asked the seller the shipping fees, and those are CRAAAAZZZYYY, shipping costs would be 800USD approx ...

Could someone check out a good and cheap shippingfirm for me, because I can't find one ... (and I'm not an expert in it) ? I really want this model, but with those shipping rate ...

Regards

Alvaro

Would probably cost you less to find a flight to go there and bring it back with you...

Yeah, international shipping is really expensive when you collect travel agency models... I usually ask the seller to remove the wings (if possible ) and to ship the model by national postal service with the standard shipping rate - not air mail! You will have to wait a few weeks for your model, but it does the trick costwise.

Last week I was really amazed when I bought an old Lufthansa DC-10 resin-model in 1/50 scale on German eBay. Shipping was 7,50 Euro - which is about $ 11,70... And this thing is huge, real huge...
