Default Brain-Ripper: Does anyone remember this?

Mechanics Illustrated ran a cover in the seventies featuring a small corporate sized jet amphibian. It had oval windows like a GV and had retractable outer wings that extended with floats. Any recollection anyone? The airplane was red and white and was the feature story. The cockpit windows were large panoramic teardrop shapes. Kind of bug-eye looking. See very rough sketch below...which is totally from memory....Im sure the engine, tail, etc is not correct. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Herb
