Ah, what you can do with LEGO these days. Some years ago, LEGO had also released 2 special fighters in large scale, a Sopwith Camel and a Fokker DR. I Triplane. I have both, but they need to be rebuilt due to damage caused by my mom while she was wiping dust off of them, to add that the stickers are starting to come off. I can't stop laughing at that last photo though, with that little LEGO SS officer "Talking" to the soldier. I should look through my inventory of parts to see if I can build an IL-2 out of LEGO, I sorta wanna build one now.

i hate the new legos as they have come out with many parts now that lack imagination to build.

but those airplane builds are classics! i see none of the new lego parts being used!

yeah i agree with u KAI... LEGO these days is less creative to play with..!! i had once made a huge airport of lego with all the LEGO planes and accessories like GSEs etc... it was awesome... then i also added glowing lights to the runway... then also i had a made a huge departure lounge and a a grat control tower!! it was awesome... sadly i dont have any pics of that masterpiece with me...!!

Amazing stuff! Thanks for posting these - those builders are impressive! The large scale P-51 is great.
