I know this sounds a bit off beat but I tend to go off in other directions for aircraft than strickly the metal diecast style.
One of these has been the Matchbox series playsets that are mostly plastic, with some metal, with different ulmost unique aircraft designs. These started with the Mission Bravo series, then Mega Rig series now into the wierd monster series, with few aircraft. I would like to find and buy some of the sets I was unable to find in my part of the US when these were out for retail sale. These are the Extended Sky Scorcher, SR-71 Black bird and Rescue Plane playsets. Does anyone out there have any of these for sale ? Where would a person look besides Ebay for these items for sale ? |

If you were to do a search, you will find that there are several web sites dedicated to Matchbox. These message boards have collectors who are knowledgeable about the product and who may be able to help you. Better yet, there are also many toy collector shows throughout the world that are good places to browse and learn, and may have what you seek. Some might be available to you locally. I am not familiar with those play sets, though I collect Sky-Busters.
