A word of advice! This company sucks, they have no urgency none at all! Never answers e-mails whatsoever! Sent them several e-mails asking if they do custom models and not once have I received an e-mail back. Very poor service if you’re wanting anything from them good luck, you may be waiting till maybe Boeing announces their working on a new 797. I would look into Atlantic for a custom model if you want a custom model. If not a custom model, then go with PacMin or Space Models.

Just how good are the Westways models compared to the top manufactures such as the AMI, Conquest, PacMin’s & Space? Are they even comparable to these top brands?

Also as I'm sure others feel the same way, we don’t need you to plaster your products all over here in different threads to promote your products. If it is a good quality product it will promote itself. You posted on several threads promoting Westway. If I’m correct, this website is for collectors communicating with collectors not a website to pimp you business here!

I totally agree with you. This is not an advertisement site but a site for the collectors. Sounds to me that dunnone5000 is just using this site here to promote their stuff. It is alright to mentioned it once in a while about your products, but seems almost every thread he’s on is about his stuff, and this is getting old.

AMi, Conquest, EDM & Space Models we supply them all there small scale fibreglass models 1/100 to 1/50 and have done for tens of years so any fibreglass models in these scales you see are made by us.

As for useing this site to promote w-a-models iv only posted were there are collectors looking for models and iv seen lots of links to websites on all these forums.

I cannot believe these negative comments regarding Westway! I have been collecting large scale "travel agent" type models since 1974 and the 2 Westway models that I presently have are stunning. One is a 1/72 Tupolev Tu154M in the current CSA Czech airlines colours and the other is a 1/100 Boeing 747-100 in the BOAC Speedbird scheme. Both are at least as good as AMI and Pacmin and somewhat better than Atlantic. Both times that I was involved in ordering these the service and delivery times were very good. As we all know these items are not mass produced so they don't materialise in 5 minutes. I am in no way connected with the company, I am just a (very) satisfied customer. Hopefully going for their 1/72 Tu124 next!
