Is anybody here familiar with the "real" Universal Airways? I remember reading that it was a cargo airline back in the 60s and the 70s with DC-8s. I know I have a postcard of one of these.
Evidently it was the "original" Zantop of the 50s, only changing its name to Universal in the mid-60s. Certainly no stratocruisers in the 50s, as below: ![]()

They were a charter company which was merged into Saturn. Universal did operate one 747 for a short time being the first charter comapny to do so.
