Default Emery DC-8. Air Jet Advance?

An Emery DC-8, probably 1980s vintage.

May be Air Jet Advance Models out of Florida, but it's unmarked.

Its wing span is 10.25". I did the math and that's a weird scale - about 1:170 !

Hmmm. The stand does look `Air Jetty'.
What model -8 is it `supposed' to be? Looks short bodied. If its a -50 or older maybe Air Jet stuck -63 wings on it which would throw out your measurements towards the 1/170 you suggest. Just my wild guess. I have a `1/200' Air Jet Air City (Swiss) DC-8-6x. Unfort. its in storage so I can't compare measurements with yours. But 10" wingspan sounds about same.

Negative on the Air Jet Advance models here Anthony...This one off along with a matching 727 were sold seperately and came in a custom CF Airfreight boxes with styrofoam inserts ala aeromini 747's...Not quite sure who made them but it was a one time deal....

Thank You for your help, crownvic - I always look for the obvious, hence Air Jet - but you make it sound as though I something a step above those. I didn't pay all that much for it, and I like DC-8s !
