Default Large Interflug IL-62 Cutaway sold on Ebay

Hi Folks,

normally I am not so much in favour talking about prices, but for this one would be interested to learn your opinion. The model was just sold, so everything remains on theoretic level.
It was rather hard to get some add info from the seller. Regard the condition:
The top white may be repainted, the two main gears are missing. Some damage of unknown type at the tail. Paint worn out in several sections. Otherwise seems to be acceptable. Main factor are the missing main gears, I guess.

Here we go:

So what's your idea?

Hi Flieger,

I was interested in buying it but I leave it, because of its condition and origin. The model is scratch built and hand painted. It is made out of wood and some metal parts. I got some pics from the seller, before I made my decision.

I`m still happy with my original resin Interflug Tu-134. Check out the picture.

Thanks for comments.

I guess, that any of these large models from Interflug are more or less scratch built. And the use of wood for that size was rather common in Eastern Europe.

Nevertheless of course I share your opinion on the model's condition based on the photographs I received as well.

Great TU-134!

Any other comments..!?

I snapped this photo of an Interflug Il-62 model on display in the East German tourism office, Vienna, Austria, on Sunday, 2 September 1984.
