I'm really quite impressed with the latest Gaincorps, so much so that I would now rank diecast fighter jet manufacturers as follows: Dragon Wings, Corgi, Gaincorp, Revell, and Air Command. I do have one concern about Gaincorp: Are the other Russian Flankers released with WA- (World Aircraft Collection) product codes improved models, or have they simply been re-issued with new ID numbers? Gavin,
why don't you take a look at the Modelcarexpo website, they have listed some later flankers. I have personally seen listed a Strike Flanker (SU-34) with a new double digit number (namely "45") and a totally different camouflage. IMO, a lot better than the first and second release. this third Su-34 (I don't know the product number, sorry!) is the most accurate of the three...Grey radome, correct camouflage tone (greenish, not greyish)...and the number of a plane that actually flew on airshows!!!! u can even find pictures of it over a.net!! My wife will kill me, but I feel like getting this one! ![]() |
