Default for those intesrested in Russian or non-NATO themes

A new version of the Su-34 "Strike Flanker" has been released.
Albeit not a new airframe, it is a revised colour scheme and it looks a bit closer to the real thing. Only the tail number is still "43", while the turquoise green prototype is number "45"....

Item GC8011A:

Here is more on this model: http://www.wings900.com/vb/showthrea...379#post109379

Default

here is a photo of 45 "white" from a.net
Notice the greenish tone of the model? On the real plane, the radome and other composite parts are grey, while on the model they are still white.

43 "black" has a white radome, and a greyish in colour.

The variant Su-34 Strike Flanker, as well as the original Giodi release, are listed at US$40 on the Hong Kong-based Model Car Expo (http://www.modelcarexpo.com/subcatlist2.asp?catid=319).

Furthermore, UK-based Collectors Aircraft Models (http://www.collectorsaircraft.com/EC...?Manu=Gaincorp) is taking orders for the F/A-22 Raptor at £34.99.

Default the refuelling probe is gone

Looking closely I realised the newer Su-34 lacks the refuelling probe present on the older "giodi" release. probably it looks better this way ("retracted"?)

The F-22 is not bad, looks better than the prototype on their website, but it stills does not look like the production version (the real thing!). I am not an arms expert, just a diecast collector, but they could have improved the model just a bit more before actual release.

On the other hand, the F-15 (Japanese) on another post looks a lot better than the F-22!
