100 years of flight

Has any one seen the 100 years of flight series? I can't quite recall what manufacturer, but I've seen it at Wal-Mart, Target and several other places. My question is if you have gotten them didi you see the BA Concorde and Pan Am 747. They aren't in the various stores I've checked. All I see is the Wright flyer and some other old planes. But I'm looking for the Concorde.

Hi,

The "100 Years of Flight" series is from Corgi as part of their "Showcase Collection" range. Corgi are a well established diecast manufacturer from the UK and they've been steadily gaining a foothold in the US over the past few years (although recent events would have us believe their willing to risk losing it again, but I won't get into that now!).

We stock all of Corgi's aviation diecast at The Flying Mule and have the Concorde and 747 models you mentioned. We're not nearly the size of Wal-Mart (I wish!), so we can't begin to compete with their prices, but please feel free to check us out:

100 Years of Flight British Airways Concorde
100 Years of Flight Pan Am 747

Incidentally, if you're considering collecting all 20 aircraft in the series, Corgi produce a neat display shelf for them and I don't recall ever seeing these in Wal-Mart:

You can also find them at diecastdirect.com. Those Corgi Showcase planes are very nice for $5 a plane.
