Question New Corgi Catalog ... No Commercial/Civil Aviation?!

I just ran across images from the new 2004 Aviation Archive catalog, and note, much to my distress, that there are no Commercial Aviation releases planned for the first half of next year.

While I am happy to see a couple of the military models (in particular, the "No Guts, No Glory" P-47), I fear that we may have seen the last of the airliners for a while, if not forever. This is disappointing, as I have always thought that the distinctive strength of the series was its ability to bring us surprises in 1/144 scale.

Default Dig that crazy AWACS

The print is a little too fine, so I can't tell if I'm going to need to spring for some batteries for the "Boeing 707 AWACS features powered, self-rotating rotadome" ?!?

I'd love a BA Chinook! I agree with the dissapointment over the lack of Civilian releases...but it has to make you wonder what Corgi's sales must be like. If they're kickin arse in the military department, I guess we lose out?

On a side note: The AWACS is hot! I was hoping for a more interesting paint job thoughoh wait, they're all boring. Maybe a NATO*OTAN model to spice it up?

WoW Romania 1 you have hit the nail on the head!

A BA Chinook would be unbelievable, I'd jump on that puppy before the paint was dry.

Another that would be great would be, a New York Airway Sikorsky S-61L and a couple of S-61N, Resorts International, Trump, KLM Helicopters, and Heathrow/Gatwick Air Link!!!
