Default Corgi's AC-130H Spectre Gunship :(

First of all, let me say that an AC-130E is the same aircraft as an AC-130H just different engines and the addition of the 105MM Howitzer cannon...but they were the very same aircraft ( tail numbers) just modified in 1970-72..infact all but one AC-130E turned into AC-130Hs. ( all but 69-6571..who was shot down on 30 March 1972 before its conversion was done) The Corgi aircraft is better set as an AC-130E.. the weapons on it are the 2X20MM, 2X7.62MM, and 2X40MM Bofors cannons.. they have the weapons set up exactly like they had the AC-130A set up...they should have moved the AN/APQ-150 needs to be moved from where the left paratroop door is to where the air deflector door is on a slick C-130 and the addition of a 105MM Howitzer Cannon should have been added to where the paratroop door is. They should have also added what's called Pitot Static Boom ( it is a huge boom out the right side of the nose section and it was on ALL Ac-130Es and AC-130Hs. It would also be nice to see the AN/AVQ-17 (the 2KW light) on the left side of the aircraft..leaving this out is just wrong.

also the AC-130A was done right with one air deflector in front of the 2X20MM Gatlings up front..the AC-130As only had one..the AC-130E/Hs had two..one in front of each 20MM. Corgi left out BOTH of them..
Corgi putting the ALQ-87s on was a good move..but them putting on the outer pylon was wrong..the USAF put them where the external fuel tank is supposed to go and the USAF also had on a SUU-42A/A on the outer wing pylon ( looks like a big bomb but is a dispenser).. my last nitpick is the paint job..they never had gray until they put on the 105MM Cannon...this aircraft should have been painted just like Corgi painted the AC-130A.
Don't get me wrong..I like this model..but I think that someone should be doing the research...if they looked at ANY pictures at all...they would have not made ANY of these mistakes

just my $0.02
