Hi Jesus!
It's so cool model!!! How about her interior? Did you make it as your DC9 model? I do wanna look inside. How did you make the landing gears? Please show us your way!!!!!!!! I'd just finished the drawings for my B737 model, so I will print out them and make a test piece of the nose section on this weekend. Thanks! |

How're you doing Jesus?!!
Thanks for your pics! It's so great amazing gear. Is it made from card or any other material? How about the cabin interior of your B727 or DC9 model? It seemed that there were the sunshades at the cabin windows on your DC9. Show all the detail informations about your model. Thanks! |

Another. Just two photocopies of a scaled cockpit photo and a piece of acetate glued and voila... The details will be added soon.

seriously, can anyone put Jesus in contact with some museums? his models are really amazing. I can't believe the level of detail he achieves with these cardboard models!
Jesus, what materials have you used for those seats? |

To B-huj:
ALL IS PAPER, except for the acetate on the glass instruments. Cockpit now is almost finished, but i have still to do one of the most difficult parts: the jokes, i will try to do them in card and if the results are not good, i will do in plastic. The real aspect is done on painting or in other details, not in building. For instance, look these new images i have just post, i have added a jepp. chart on engine controls and it looks even more realistic. I have made a test and this is the area that can be easily seen from outside the model. May be i leave it there... What do you think? I have done today the reduction (8 times smaller) of the chart, you can imagine the face of the man in the printer house of photocopies!!!! Jesus. |

Yokes, 4 steps: cut, glue, sand and the most important: paint with lack like in cars that covers very well and dry in minutes...

You should talk to the Smithsonian about a display at the National Air Museum or any Museum near you. Wow. That flight deck looks real!

No, I have never sold on e-bay... I have always bought, mostly jetliners models.
But if there is a detailed card model of a tup. 134 on ebay i would like to see it. I think there is a not very detailed tu-134 card model in 1/50 in the market. It would be possible to do a good model from these stencils. Jesus. |

Jesus,
That cockpit is truly breath taking. I am amazed at seeing that piece of cardboard become such a realistic yoke! PSSST! It is about time to start a separate thread, images are piling up and download time is slowing! ![]() |
