As a kid in the late 60s or early 70s I would get as birthday or Christmas gifts bags of cheap plastic planes that were of different colors. Sometimes the planes would come out funny looking ( the piper cub especially) but I had a blast playing with them. Some of the planes were a constellation, B-58, Zero, P-51, a Lancaster and even some Saab planes. On the underside of the wing the planes would have the length of the wingspan and the fuselage. Every once in a while I'll see them at toy shows but I've never seen an unopened bag of them. Anybody else ever have these and is there any sights that might talk about these or better yet sell them?

They sound like the Multiple Plastics MPC Planes of the World.

If I thought anyone would come through Anthony I thought it would either be you or Justin. Thanks! Do you happen to know any old time toy stores or sights regarding these plane? We have three major Toy shows in Chicago per year and every now and then I can pick up a bag of 15 or so for $5. I thought these were either MPC or Lido.

Check out the Yahoo! Groups, Diecast-toy-planes. We have had discussions on MPC plastic planes and Michael has posted photos of them there.
Also I know somebody in NYC who will be at a show in Chicago tomorrow. Hope it's nice.
