ASM (Asia Special Models) is a Korea's very own (well, only one) model aircraft manufacturer!
Manufactures both military (mostly Korean Air Force) and civil aircrafts.

ASM currently is the only licensed model manufacturer to produce KOREAN AIR model.
Any other KE models made by others in 1/100, 1/200, 1/400, 1/500 are "officially" unlicensed.
KE banned all model manufacturer to stop making their models a couple of years ago,
that is very wrong and bad decision which stopping a free marketing via models. Well, it's a long story, I'm not going there today.

Anyway, I had very wrong opinions regarding ASM until a few days ago.
I had a previliage to visit ASM main office and factory just last week.
Their quality hasn't been up to world class standard of model aircraft
made by many other well known manufacturers for many years,
however their quality suddenly got so much better this a couple of years.

There were so many models I wanted to purchase the day I visited,
but had to choose 2 models due to my budget.
This KE B738 WL is one of them, the 2nd one is KE A380!! (Which I will show you guys in near future)

Hi Benjamin. Hope all good with you. A very nice model! have a 1/200 ASM Korean Airlines A380, and an ASM 1/250 Korean Air Cargo 747-400. They might not be Pacmins, but neither are the prices!

Hello Neil,
I am surprised that someone who is so far away from Korea has ASM models!
I did see 1/200 KE A380 at the factory, newly revised with many more details.
I personally have 2 Hogan KE A380s (Samples) and 2 Skymarks KE A380s all with gears, plus I was more looking for 1/100s this time...
Your ASM KE models should be some years old I'm guessing?
When you can, would you be so kind to take some photos and upload for us?

Hi Benjamin. I shall take some pics and post them tomorrow. They both have very nice Korean Air boxes. I've no idea how old they are, I found them on eBay last year, but not from the same sellers. They both have stands identical to your 737.

Oh, you bought them only last year? That's not that old. I would have to see it.
Fact that you only got them last year, A380 might be the newer version, I don't know.
But 1/250, I would really need to see. ASM currently not making 1/250 anymore.
For civil aircrafts, 1/200, 1/100 only.
For military, I don't know all the scales, there were 1/48, 1/72, 1/100 etc...
