Spare part for CX 747-400 1:100

Hey All,

I recently bought a CX 747-100 scale 1:100 but engine nr 4 is missing. Any idea where I can get a spare engine for this model?

Hi Sergio. Another nice model. Have you tried Westway? From what I understand, Space Models, along with AMI PHelps models have become unified, and now trade as The Curvature Group. I've put their link below, worth a try though I've no idea if they're 'collector friendly these days. In my own experience, both Space and AMI have provided small parts for me in the past, so maybe as Curvature they'll be able to sort something out for you. Maybe Atlantic could help if you can't get sorted this side of the pond.

I have got the same models you bought (CX B747-400)as well but mine are still ok with a bit of luck after 27years. I bought 5 of them when I worked with CX date back to early 90 (crazy about plane) . I still keep 3 of them in Sydney. Sorry cant help you with the parts but to say they are good 1/100 one piece model and made in UK (forgot the company name if anyone could recall it) as I remembered they were well packed in a big box.

Hi Qantas...still thanks for sharing your experiences...it is a nice model indeed...it looks like a Westway Model...but I am not sure on that...
