Default My 2016 acquisitions

Its been a big year for my large model collection. Mostly all 1:100 scale. I sold 1 model, a Skyland models BA Tristar. The largest model I added to the museum as a Space Models 1:50 scale BA 757, that had the proper white door outlines(some are dark grey). The one that got away, was the Space models 1:100 scale BA DC10. The best bargain was the Topping Models B727-100 in Boeing colours. Only set me back $26. Later auctions saw this model going almost $200. I was the only bidder. The most recent ones I got were a Westway(I think) 1:100 scale Laker DC10, and a Braniff "Ultra" DC-8-62H. A good year indeed, but I'll have to step away from my collection. We just bought a house(closing on Dec 20th), and my disposable income will be going to that. Plus, going back to flying after being off a year on disability. I'll just have to enjoy everyone else's prize conquests.

Hi Jetjack74,

Thanks so much for taking the time, to post the pics of all of your recent model acquisitions.

They're indeed all really nice looking models.

Best of luck with each.

Regards, Robert

Thank you! The 1:100 scale 747-400 is the one I most often come across. That was a real bargain for $150 + $55 for overnight shipping.
