The first one in 30s colors looks great; the second is cute and colorful; however, these graphics look somewhat out of place on the old timer.

Flew in China before WW2 and the chinese character on the fuselage means "POST" (like "LUFTPOST") this rendition by herpa represents the number 17 of the fleet, therefore "EURASIA 17" both in Chinese and English (or German...).
I must say the final retail version comes with grey logo on tail, and i am certain that must be wrong, because, unless i am crazy, that represents the Republic of China national emblem (of those days)in the center: a white sun on a blue background.
I can only guess that Eurasia's logo was based on the emblem on a certain circular (yellow??) design w/a bird. There doesn't seem to be any colour images of this machine.
You can find more information on Eurasia on lufthansa's website.

Default Herpa Junkers Ju-52

Why did Herpa pick the "odd scale" of 1/160 instead of 1/200? The currugated detail of the Ju-52 is impossible to accurately make in metal models!

A FW 200 Condor is on the way I can assure you and a Ju-90! - both in 1/200

well, not too odd, u can get N-gauge little people, cars, buses, trains, buildings...an entire 1:160 world.
but i really hate the fact that herpa junkers look too big by the 1:200 airliners.
