Default Photos of the Valiant and the Shackleton.

At last here they are.Hopefully!
AS you'll see this one is of the Valiants component parts so you can see just why it took so long to make.

Here it is again shown from underneath and posed on what may be a familiar stand!

This one is our Shackleton at about 50% towards completion.
I look forward to all your comments.

Cheers,

Rich.

Excellent Valiant! I can't wait to add it alongside my white Victor and Vulcan.

The "exploded" view is neat -- it really shows how much detail goes into these models.

How are you planning to market these?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the feedback,I can't wait to add a Valiant to my collection too, hopefully it won't be too long before we all can! At the moment I'm sorting out the artwork for the decals for the first few models in the range which is brain teasing to say the least, but we're getting there.
The marketing plan, if you can call it that, is to sell the models direct from us via ads in aviation and collecting magazines for the most part, also via a web-site hopefully as well as selling them wholesale to selected retailers.
Once more Corgi work is clogging the workbench at the mo but we really want to get these models out there before Christmas.

Cheers,

Rich

Dave.

Yes the finished models will be cast in pewter, with some parts produced in resin, the props on the Shackleton are going to be photo-etched brass and the Valiants wing fences will be done the same way.
As for finished cost, well we haven't worked that out yet, but please bear in mind these are going to be hand made in runs of only a couple of hundred at the very most, so they won't be cheap, but you will get value for money considering the effort that has to go into them! Sorry to be so vague but I'll have more idea how much they'll cost buyers when we work out how much they cost us to make.
Thanks again for all the support George'll be delighted that his Shack is "stunning", he normally only makes cars or boats!

Cheers,

Rich.

Very impressive! Will these come as kits, or as finished models? Either way, very nice

WOOHOO!! Awesome, Rich! Simply awesome!!
That Valiant is a thing of beauty and the Shackleton is as near to perfect as a rough copy can be, I can hardly wait to get my hands on these.
Thanks for sharing.

Great, more positive feedback thank you all. The intention is to make these models available as finished items as close to the standards of Corgi models as possible and hopefully better, though if someone did want to buy one in kit form I'm sure it could be arranged.

Cheers

Rich.
